Listen to our latest podcast episode "Reimagining the Goals of Crime Policy in the Incarceration System". In this episode, TWC co-founder Rory Wilson discusses the evolution of crime policy in the United States and its impact on the economy. From the lack of investment in communities to the lack of access to rehabilitation programs in the incarceration system, this episode highlights why policymakers should focus more of their efforts on helping the formerly incarcerated as they reintegrate into society as opposed to just deterrence policies.

Our MissionThe mission is within the name of our organization - together, we care. Our goal is to have our community come together during these tremulous times in order to seek justice for those who have not been extended this privilege at birth. Our march rejected the usage of societal privilege to advance only oneself, the inhumane treatment of Black Americans by law enforcement, and the silencing of the new generation. We recognize our own privilege and will use it so that we can effectively care for one another and help uplift the Black community. Yes, all lives matter, but that cannot be true until Black lives are equally protected and represented in and by local, state and national governments. TWC came to be on the basis of wanting the Black community of Fountain Hills, and those around the country, to know that they are seen, supported and valued the same way any other is. Every voice in our community deserves to be heard and we aim to uplift those who have historically been silenced.
